C.F. Müller Verlag has published the 9th edition of the classic, Defense in Preliminary Proceedings, under the authoritative leadership of our partner, Dr. Jens Bosbach. Dr. Jens Bosbach had already revised the 8th edition in 2011/2012 on his own and rewritten it in essential parts.
In the 9th edition, attorney Julian Ackermann from the law firm Pfordte Bosbach assisted in the area of coercive measures in criminal proceedings and Dr. Jan Caba (own law firm) in the area of public defense. On a total of approx. 300 pages, the basic structure and the activities of the criminal defense lawyer in criminal investigation proceedings are explained in a practical and up-to-date manner, from the acceptance of the mandate, to the inspection of files, to coercive measures in criminal proceedings and questions of remuneration.
The work is part of the recognized so-called “Yellow Series” of the publisher C.F. Müller, within which many special areas in the field of criminal law are illuminated.
